Purpose
Weekly deep-dive on paid acquisition strategy, owned by Hamish. Adam, Alan, Frank — the strategic + tactical + financial triangle. Note for 2026-05-04: Hamish declined this instance — meeting still on with Adam, Alan, Frank.
What I want walking out
When Hamish is present:
- Strategic alignment on the next 2-week paid-acq agenda
- Channel-mix decisions ratified (what stays, what scales, what gets cut)
- Specific budget envelope for the next sprint
When Hamish declined (today, 2026-05-04):
- Org chart for the performance team — current + 90-day target — agreed with Alan + Frank
- Training plan — concrete cadence (e.g., "every Friday 30 min, one team member presents a learning") + Loom library plan + reading list
- Cost of proposed hires pressure-tested by Frank
- 5-bullet recap to Hamish post-meeting (since he wasn't in the room)
Talking points (Hamish-out version, 2026-05-04)
- Current org chart as it stands today
- Proposed org chart 90 days out — names, roles, open seats
- Training cadence proposal — concrete (every Friday 30 min — one team member presents)
- Cost of the proposed hires — Frank can pressure-test on the spot
- The leadership-standup carryover topics (SKUs, PDPs, agency sourcing) — only re-touch if a decision is needed today vs Hamish-blocked
What to listen for
- Alan's view on which hires unblock him fastest — that's where the first req should sit
- Frank's view on which hires the budget supports vs which need a CFO-side build-vs-buy conversation
- Why Hamish declined — if it's a one-off scheduling thing, no signal. If it's a pattern, that's a separate conversation Adam should book with him directly.
